First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Living Legacy Foundation.
Ocular Recovery Technician
I had two phone interviews with the LLF. The first was with Ashley from HR, which was mainly behavioral questions and questions about my skills. The second was with a manager, Rick. He asked me about my past work experience and gave me a detailed overview of the job and the organization. Both people were great and very professional and friendly.
- Can you share an instance from your clinical experience where you were interrupted and had to shift your focus to address a different task?
Donor Services Coordinator
It started with two phone interviews, and there was a lot of back and forth via email about where things stood. Then there was a face-to-face interview that was all about behavior, and it went for about an hour or two. You'd meet with three different teams, though sometimes one of them might just be one person. They'd start with a tour, and you might be with other people interviewing at the same time. It felt pretty chill, but it wasn't a walk in the park.
- Can you describe a situation where you encountered a challenging donor?
- Share an example of a time you had to coordinate various services for a client.
- Can you give an instance where you had to juggle multiple tasks or priorities?
Family Services
Started with a phone screening, then I was called in for a face-to-face interview. They asked me to walk through my skills and resume, followed by some behavioral questions. These questions involved describing a situation in detail, explaining what I learned, and the final outcome. The interviewers were the two FS directors, and then I had a one-on-one with another department member. The whole thing was quite involved.
- Could you describe a challenging project you managed and its outcome?
- Tell me about a difficult project you handled and what happened in the end.
Donor Services Coordinator
Started with a phone interview, then a face-to-face interview where I met with 2-3 other candidates. In the face-to-face, we all met and were interviewed by Managers and/or Directors. They used a behavioral-based interviewing style. A decision was made pretty quickly, usually within a week.
- Tell me about a time you had to follow a policy you disagreed with.
