I spoke with the CEO first, then a Board member, and then some other VPs. They looked at my past experience, my work habits, and how I handle relationships across the company. There was also a background check and they spoke with my references. Talking with the other VPs was mostly about how we'd collaborate, and I had some technical talks with the CTO.

I had a phone interview, and then I was invited for a face-to-face interview, which was supposed to be an hour long. When I got there, they told me I had to do another face-to-face interview before meeting the manager. The interviews ended up being over two hours long and weren't scheduled ahead of time. I probably didn't get the offer because nobody from the company has contacted me with an update, even though it's been over a month since the interviews.

The VP Product mentioned he lived in Romania for a while. Then he asked personal questions about my kids and family, which was weird. He also criticized the development management, calling it a mess. Finally, he asked if I'd be loyal to him or report it to the CEO. It was unprofessional.
