Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Live On NY.
Surgical Recovery Coordinator
It was amazing! Informative and felt very comfortable and at ease with the interview and they answered all of my questions and concerns. Great interview and seems like a great place to work.
- Why do you want to work here?
Family Support Advocate
I applied online and they emailed me back asking for an interview and my salary expectations. I had a video interview, then an in person interview. After that, they offered me the job and a salary that was much lower than my minimum. HR said salary depends on factors like experience and how long you've been in the industry. During the interview, they said my experience would be really valuable. It would have been nice if they'd told me upfront they couldn't meet my salary needs, I was pretty disappointed.
- The interview experience was positive, with the manager and program director appearing intelligent, passionate, and dedicated to the cause.
Donor Coordinator
I got referred by a friend and heard back within a month. First, there was a test with about 3 or 4 other candidates. After finishing the test, I moved on to the second stage, which was a 10-minute interview with HR. The final part of the interview involved meeting with two people in a glass room. They asked about my plans for staying with the company and my long-term career goals, so it's a good idea to research the company's other positions if you're looking to advance.
- What would you do if a family member yelled at you?
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
Hospital Services Specialist
It had 3 rounds, with the last one being a panel interview. That panel included a presentation and a live writing sample. You should definitely prepare for it.
- What is your preferred management style?
