The interview was warm and welcoming. I was asked specific detailed questions about my experience from my resume and the rationale for the new role was explained well. Overall great experience.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. They wanted to hear about my background, gave me some information about the company, and then presented me with a hypothetical client scenario. I had to explain how I would go about treating that client.

I was moved to a 50-minute clinical interview. It included an assessment vignette and a deep dive into my experience with their primary demographic. The interview really dug into my reasoning skills and asked for specific modalities and techniques I use. The interviewers were welcoming, knew the company culture well, and were clear on what they expected. It gave me a good sense of what it would be like to work there if it was a good fit for both of us.

  • Given this vignette, what are the assessment steps you'd take and what factors would you consider?
  • What diagnostic considerations are important to weigh?
  • How do you demonstrate self-awareness as a clinician?

The interview process was a complete waste of time, lasting from October 2021 to July 2022. I went through 3 rounds initially and was told they wanted me but I had to wait for the position to open. After months of waiting and checking in, they told me I needed to do a 4th interview. I thought it would be to go over job expectations and get an offer, but it turned out to be another clinical interview. After all this, they told me I wasn't being considered. Start-ups can totally do this, so be careful and don't assume anything until you have an offer. Plus, 4 rounds for a job that doesn't pay well is crazy.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe your approach to implementing trauma-informed care?
