First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Little Leaves Behavioral Services.
Registered Behavior Technician
First, there's a phone call. Then, you'll come in for an in-person observation. You'll shadow an RBT and then show your skills during a real session, doing some behavior interventions.
- Show specific skills during an in-person demonstration.
Registered Behavior Technician
After finishing the online application, you'll set up an hour-long observation. This involves a clinic tour and time to watch a client session. You'll also meet with the center director to discuss your experience and get to know you better. A background check will also be done.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
Training Specialist
It was a two-part interview. First, a phone screen. Then, an in-person interview that lasted about 1-2 hours. They presented three different scenarios and I had to role play training someone as a client, and also acting as an RBT to that client.
- Imagine a new behavior technician is having trouble with a client who elopes from table work and swipes items. Additionally, another RBT is complaining to their supervisor that they spend too much time assisting new hires, which takes away from their own client's session. How would you assist both the new behavior technician and the complaining RBT?
ABA Therapist
The interview process was pretty standard. We talked about what the company is aiming for, what they expect from their employees, and what they expect from clients. They really emphasized how important aba therapy is and how to interact with kids, especially those in grade school and high school, focusing on their communication.
- How did you usually handle a disruptive child?
