I got a call from the recruiter to discuss the job and the pay, and they asked if I was interested. The recruiter then set up an interview with the Manager of Records Retrieval. The interview was about 30 minutes long. I got the job offer the same day.

The first phone screen got rescheduled a bunch, sometimes they'd let me know right when it was supposed to start. After we finally did that, they reached out about a week later to set up a full interview. The interviewer seemed kinda checked out and annoyed the whole time. They only asked a couple of basic questions before wrapping things up.

So, I applied, sent in my resume, a cover letter, and a little write-up about why I'm a good fit for the internship and LMI. The whole thing took about 3 weeks. First, I got a call from the HR person for a phone chat. Then, a week later, I went in person to meet with the same HR person, since they'd already cut down the list of people. They asked a lot of questions, especially about hypothetical scenarios. After that, they did a background check. Finally, they called me to go over all the internship details, what it involves, the duties, and the pay, and then offered me the position.

The HR folks were super nice and really wanted to know about my background and personality. I didn't really meet too many other people from the company. The interview process involved talking to an HR person, then the HR manager, and finally the department manager. I have no complaints about them; they were all very professional and most seemed genuinely interested. However, one person closed my file mid-interview, which definitely felt like a bad sign. I pretty much knew right then I wasn't going to get the job. Plus, they didn't call me back when I followed up. That's when I knew for sure it was over! But all in all, it was a decent experience!
