I applied via a staffing agency and went through an interview process at Lithium Technologies (Bengaluru) around Nov/Dec 2017, which I found to be the worst. One scheduled round was missed because the team was out, and I was asked to return later. The next round was also delayed. After the second round, they promised to get back but kept giving excuses like panel unavailability or company shutdown. After a month of follow-ups with HR, they finally responded, stating they weren't hiring for SDE 1, which seemed illogical and caused unnecessary delays. Honestly, it's probably for the best they bailed, as it might have saved me future trouble. Be warned if you're considering interviewing there.

It was a really great experience. My recruiter was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. Everyone I met at the company seemed genuinely enthusiastic about their work. I had two phone interviews that were a bit technical, with people who would be my manager and senior engineering folks. After that, I flew out for a full day of technical interviews at their office. The interviews weren't anything too out of the ordinary, but all the interviewers seemed invested in helping me succeed and were a pleasure to talk to.

I applied through a friend and was contacted by HR for a few phone screens before flying in for onsite interviews. My HR contact's last day was my first day, and they didn't really try to sell the company. I was relieved to connect with the VP of Engineering, as friends have had similar experiences with HR. It might be best to bypass HR for info if you can.
