The process was pretty chill and traditional. They mostly wanted to check if my experience matched my resume and understand my long-term career goals. It was quick, and I managed to grab some really good coffee from the station. Actually, if I get the job, that coffee might become a problem.

Behavioral Technical

The interview questions for this basic call centre role are not appropriate and seem more suited for a business manager. The customer service executive position is a standard call centre job. The team was made redundant in April, and some remaining staff are negatively impacting service advisors in Evans Halshaw showrooms nationwide. I would not recommend this job as it's likely to be subject to future redundancies. The interviewer, who identifies as a 'digital engagement leader,' is actually a call centre supervisor and exhibits unprofessional, rude, and incompetent behavior.

The candidate was contacted about being shortlisted for an interview and was offered interview times/dates. Within 30 minutes, the selected slot was gone. After trying again throughout the day and seeing slots disappear, they were told someone would find an alternative slot with the interviewers. The candidate had to follow up two days later and was informed that the interview offer was being revoked due to poor time management. The candidate found this unprofessional and short-sighted, suggesting the shortlist was not specific enough.

Case Presentation Group

The interview process began with an online application and a video interview. This was followed by an assessment centre. My overall opinion of the assessment centre is that it was poorly run, as if the assessors had just quickly tried to replicate one they'd previously attended. It felt cobbled together and disorganized. During the tasks, people were interrupted and asked to switch to new ones, there was a lot of talking from everyone during the tasks, and the time limits weren't stuck to. It had a very relaxed feel. This was my fourth assessment centre, and it was probably the worst run one. The assessors were nice, but the day didn't make the company look good, and I got the impression it's not a place I'd want to work. That was my general take, though some others seemed to like the relaxed approach. If I'd travelled far, I would have been quite annoyed.
