The interview process involved partners who were professional and discussed office culture and expectations. I mainly wish I had inquired about their perspective on the company overall. The discussion would cover experience with depositions and trial work.

It was kind of awkward, they drilled me on substantive law instead of my skills. I didn't love it, but it was fun to be tested on the law. It made me realize it wasn't a place I'd want to work. I guess they were testing my smarts, but it felt a bit demeaning. I would have preferred... any other interview style. Seriously, any other style would have been better and would have helped me figure out if this was a firm for me.

I had a phone interview, then an in person interview with the manager. After that, they told me I would meet the attorneys and that they would call me to set it up, but I never heard from them again.
