First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Liquidnet.
Sales Analyst
It was mostly behavioral questions. They asked me to introduce myself and share my experiences. I interviewed directly with an MD who spent a lot of time explaining their business and the role. It wasn't too challenging as they didn't expect interns to be experts.
- What is your understanding of Liquidnet?
Associate
It was a pretty standard and smooth interview process, though I felt like there were a lot of rounds. It started with an HR screening, then I had subsequent interviews with the hiring manager, their manager, and some other team members. The conversations were good, but the questions felt a little repetitive. Also, one interviewer was working remotely and seemed a bit preoccupied with her kids during the chat.
- Can you describe your daily planning and organization methods?
- What was your motivation for applying for this position?
Intern
I had a Hirevue with about 4 questions, which I could retake. Then an HR Online Interview for about 30 minutes. After that, a Physical Interview with the Heads of the respective teams for about an hour. The Heads were very different and they made the interview feel very polarizing...
- Can you tell me more about your co-curricular activities and highlight any learnings that could be applicable to this role?
Sell Side Development
The whole thing was 2 rounds. First round was a 30 min technical discussion with the team lead, based on my resume. Second round was a behavioral chat with the team lead and another team member. It all took about a month. It felt pretty relaxed and friendly. We had a good chat about the job, the team, and what the company does, and what I can expect.
- Could you share some general questions regarding your resume?
- In your opinion, what qualities are essential for a good team member?
- Can you describe your past experiences working as part of a team?
