Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process involved three rounds. The first was with the hiring manager and covered standard entry-level questions. The second round was with the VP of Sales, focusing more deeply on my background and skills. The third round was with another manager, involving job-specific questions and scenarios. The interviews themselves weren't too difficult, but my experience was negative because the company ghosted me. I followed up with the hiring manager, who said there was a slowdown but they'd be back on track in a week, and that was a month ago. Job seekers' time is just as valuable as yours.

Technical Behavioral

This was one of the most unprofessional interviews I've ever had. It started abruptly with no pleasantries, straight into aggressive tech questioning. They didn't ask anything about me as a person or what I'm looking for in a job, feeling like they just want automatons. They also made some rude comments on my answers. It was unsettling because usually, even if interviewers aren't super enthusiastic, they're at least professional. They then asked an illegal question about whether childcare would interfere with my work. I withdrew my application immediately after. I'd heard great things about Liquid Web, but this experience and other reviews make me reconsider.

The interview started with a 15-20 minute phone call where they asked some basic Linux questions, like about different distros and some commands, plus some questions about how I handle stress. Then, two days later, I got an email inviting me for an in-person interview. This was a panel interview with two parts: one focused on culture fit, which felt more like a chat than an interview, and the other on technical skills. The technical part wasn't too hard, as long as you know your Linux commands.

Behavioral Technical

There were three phone interviews. They had planned an in-person, but we did it over the phone due to scheduling issues. The company culture is pretty casual, but the work is definitely high-level. They want to check if you know your sales cycle and how it fits with theirs, if you can follow a sales process and what that process looks like for you, and generally what your perspective on selling is.
