Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lionsgate.
Executive Assistant
I applied online and had a few interviews over Microsoft Teams during a few weeks. There was a long wait between applying and getting the interviews, but once I got the first interview, the rest happened pretty quickly.
- What are your career goals and what do you hope to gain from this role?
- Our ideal candidate is someone who intends to stay in this position for an extended period.
- Are you seeking opportunities for advancement within the company?
Administrative Assistant
I went through three interviews, and they were all pretty relaxed. For two of them, they mostly just told me more about the job duties and what the company culture is like.
- What's your approach when you have to work with someone you don't see eye-to-eye with?
Executive Assistant
I interviewed online and then heard nothing for about a month. Then I had a phone interview with HR, followed by two in-person interviews. One of the in-person interviews was with the Executive I would be directly supporting. Everyone was really nice and the process seemed to move quickly. Unfortunately, I never heard back after that. I followed up with an email a few weeks after the final interview, and they told me they were still interviewing candidates but never gave me a definitive answer.
- Can you share an instance of a difficulty you encountered and successfully navigated in your previous role?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
