The whole process took way longer than expected at first because of some hiring delays from the pandemic, but once things got moving it was pretty fast, wrapping up in just over a month. It started with a quick chat with a lead dev. Then I had the choice between a small programming project or a technical interview, and I went with the project. After that, there was a code review and a peer programming session. Next up was another short chat with a different lead dev, followed by a behavioral interview with him and the project manager. The last step was a quick chat with the VP of Technology. All the chats were pretty chill, and the VP talk felt super casual, like we just clicked. We chatted about my previous projects and even hobbies and books. The programming project was fun and a good challenge for any decent programmer. The hardest part was the behavioral interview, so definitely brush up on the company's core values and have solid answers on how you align with them.

The process was fine, though it felt repetitive. I wish I'd had more opportunities to chat with people from different teams to get a better sense of the company culture. Overall, there wasn't enough time allocated for me to connect with others.
