The interview process was quite straightforward. It began with an HR call for initial screening. This was followed by a panel interview. The interview itself was simple, although some questions felt a bit textbook-like. Overall, it went smoothly, but they didn't inform candidates if they moved forward with others.
- What is a test plan versus a test strategy?
- Can you explain the difference between a test strategy and a test plan, drawing from your past project experiences?
Account Executive
The interview process is straightforward and doesn't involve tricky questions. You might get asked the typical 'Why do you want to work here?' question, but that's about it. They have a clear idea of the type of employee they're seeking and are consistent in their approach. If you're not a good match, they won't waste your time.

Client Success Specialist
So I had an internal referral and the process started with a phone screening. Then I interviewed with two managers, followed by a second interview with them where we discussed an audio file for a "virtual shadow." The next step was a final interview with their boss, and after that, they asked me to submit 4 references. It felt like a lot of interviews for an entry-level job. Most of the interviews were fine, but the last one with the director was odd. He spent most of the time complaining about problems at Linxup. Then, he told me the position I applied for had been filled, even though there was a "seat open" when I started. He gave a vague answer about "making some changes at the end of the month" to potentially open another position but said they "can’t just create a book of business" for it. Basically, he said the job wasn't available anymore, which felt like a waste of everyone's time. He also said I'd hear back in 2-3 days, but a week later, after no word, I contacted HR. That's when they requested the 4 references, which hadn't been mentioned before. I suspect they were trying to buy time to see if they could create a position or keep me as a backup. If they needed references, why didn't they ask for them directly after the director's interview? My internal referral mentioned they offered the job to someone internally, but that person just quit. It all seemed very disorganized, and the director even admitted it.
- What do you think will be the biggest hurdle for you in this position?
Business Development Representative
Started with a phone call with a recruiter, then had a zoom chat with the hiring manager for the role, and finally an in-person meeting with the VP of Sales. It was a good experience overall and helped me learn about the job and company before I accepted. Quick tip: Definitely look into the company's website before your interviews; they're keen to see you've done your homework and will probe on it.
