LinQuest Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process was pretty relaxed and conducted online. I was the only one dressed in business professional attire. There were two rounds in total: the first round had two interviewers asking me questions, and the second round had one interviewer asking me questions. They asked standard interview questions.

It started with a phone screen to check my background. Then I had an interview with a panel from the team and the Hiring Manager. After that, I had a one-on-one with the Hiring Manager about the role. It was a nice experience overall. They called me again to let me know I was getting an offer. But I said no. They wouldn't give me their benefits in writing until I accepted, which I didn't like. The pay was also less than I thought it would be.

Got an unscheduled phone call for a quick screening. They asked general stuff like why I applied, about my past experience, but no technical questions. Got an email a few days later to set up an in-person interview. We set a time and I went to their office. I met with a senior engineer, the project manager, and what I think was a tester. A big part of the interview was them telling me about the company and the job. They also gave me time to ask questions about the company and role. I got to talk about my background, experience, and why I wanted to work there. Lastly, the senior engineer asked me some technical questions, not really problem-solving or coding, more like fact-based ones to check my knowledge, like what's data encapsulation or what's an object. Everyone was super nice and polite.

A friend told me about an opening, and I was set up for 3 preliminary one-on-one interviews, each about 30 minutes long. After those, I was asked to come back for a second interview with the program management team for the specific program. This second interview was a panel with 4 interviewers and myself. They asked a mix of general questions, and one interviewer focused on behavioral questions. A week or two after that, I got the offer. Before the offer though, they called me a few times to talk about salary expectations.
