First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Linnworks.
Account Executive
There were 5 calls in total. First was an HR screening. Then there were 3 Zoom calls with the CEO, Director of Sales, and Chief of Sales. The last call was a scenario role play, not a discovery call. You could sell something you know well or Linnworks. The key is to show you can propose a solution, present a business case with ROI and differentiators, and set up next steps. I suggest selling something you've sold before. Trying to sell Linnworks didn't work for me. They asked why I didn't prepare a sales deck for the 15-minute role play, so be ready for that.

Marketing
I had a three-stage interview process. The first stage was a phone call with the internal recruiter, followed by two Zoom calls with senior management. Even though the interviews went great and the role sounded really exciting, I ended up getting ghosted by the internal recruiter after the third round. No feedback or email at all, just silence. Candidates should be treated better; they spend a lot of time preparing for interviews!
- Can you describe your process for handling content tasks?
Customer Support
The web interview was friendly and pretty informal. It was interesting to learn about the company and the e-commerce platform. After the interview, they sadly had zero courtesy in letting me know whether I had made it to the next stage which given the time I had spent I find really quite rude. The irony has not been lost on me that they said they are a people focused business - yet can't be bothered to get back to candidates they interview. Really poor in book and evident of the type of company they must be if they treat candidates this was.

Technical Support Agent
Got an invite to interview pretty fast. The interview was automated on Spark Hire. You see questions and have a set time to read and record your video answer. They asked for my salary expectation, which was €1800/month gross. I think my rejection might be due to that, but I felt it was fair for the skills and hectic 24/7/365 shifts mentioned.
