I had two interviews, each about 30 minutes long. After that, I got a call in late October. They asked behavioral questions and about recent news in industrial real estate, why I linked a specific article, and what I knew about the company. Be ready to ask your own questions.

There were 2 rounds in the interview process. It was 90% behavioral, but I heard that last summer one of the rounds was technical. The first round was a phone call with an assistant VP, and the second round was with two VPs. Mostly, you talk about yourself and your motivations to learn about real estate, specifically industrial real estate.

The whole process felt really disorganized. It took them about two months to get back to me, so I almost forgot about the role. During the first screening call and the ones after that, they kept apologizing for how long everything was taking, which was kinda weird. The recruiter would also just send out calendar invites without actually confirming a time and then cancel them later. The job itself was unclear, and neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager could really explain the key performance indicators or what would make someone successful in the role. It was a stale and kinda bizarre process overall.

This interview process was incredibly drawn out and ultimately fruitless, taking months with no outcome. It started with a recruiter call, followed by a take-home coding test that took me hours to complete but worked flawlessly. After submitting it as a zip file, they said the team would review it within two days. A week later, my follow-up was ignored. Two days after that, they claimed a 'technical issue' with reviewing my submission and were trying to fix it. When I offered to resubmit, they didn't respond for two days. Then they asked me to resubmit, which I did immediately. Two hours later, they were impressed and said I was moving on. Next, I interviewed with a principal engineer. After not hearing back, I inquired about my application status three weeks later. They promised an update by the next day, but I heard nothing. A month later, another follow-up yielded no response. Two months after that, yet another check-in was ignored.
