The first interview for an internship role, which is also a graduation requirement. As an older candidate, the experience felt average, but I can see how it might be intimidating for someone fresh out of college. We met in a conference room where I was introduced to the managers of each department, plus their overall manager, making it a total of seven interviewers. Each person got to ask their questions.

I applied online and then HR reached out within a few weeks. I then had a video interview where I had to record myself answering questions. After that, I had 2 phone interviews with managers. The HR wanted to figure out the best department and location for me based on my skills and what I'm interested in. The managers were nice and wanted to place me in an area that I found interesting.
