First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Linda's Stuff.
Client Support Analyst
First, resumes get screened for qualifications. Then, there's usually an initial call, maybe HR, to check the basics. After that, you'll likely have a first interview with a hiring manager, either virtual or in-person, where they check your skills and if you're a good fit. There might be more rounds after that, like panel interviews, technical tests, presentations, or chats with senior folks. If you make it through, they'll do reference and background checks. Finally, if all goes well, you'll get a job offer and discuss salary and terms. It can change depending on the company, but they really want to make sure you've got the skills and fit in well.
- Tell me about a weakness you have.
Photographer
The interview was pretty laid-back and went for about half an hour. They gave me a good rundown of what the job entails and asked about my past work and education. The interviewer was nice. I got a quick peek at the area I'd be working in, but a proper tour wasn't until I started.
- Can you discuss your freelance photography background?
- Do you feel you can handle the expected number of images per employee?
Associate
It was a pretty easy interview since I was referred by an associate working there. Not many questions because it's a simple job, a high schooler could do it.
- Do you have fast typing skills and what computer skills do you possess?
Technical Support Engineer
I had to introduce myself, talk about my strong points, and explain why I contacted the company. I was nervous, but the interviewer was great and welcomed me. I declined the offer, but it was a really good experience.
- Could you explain your motivation for reaching out to us?
- Tell me about yourself, your strengths, and why you contacted us.
