Summer Analyst
The interview process included some behavioral questions about how I work in a team and technical questions about valuation methods and financial statements, how they connect, and other teamwork questions to dive deeper into my behavioral aspects.
- Can you explain the relationship between the different financial statements, how they impact one another, and what this indicates about their debt structure?
- Tell me about a time you navigated a challenging situation.
Analyst
It was a long process, spread out over weeks. I met with all the senior leadership, showing high engagement. It was a deep evaluation of my skills and strengths. They were intelligent and intuitive, and also welcoming and comforting. They were reciprocal, letting me understand the firm and its people. It was slow but respectful of my individuality.
- What unique values would you introduce to our firm?
Analyst
The interview process began with a recruiter screen to check my interest in Lincoln. Then there was a cognitive test. The second round was a relatively easy valuation case study that I had to present to two associates. The final round was a superday with four interviews. The superday was mostly behavioral questions to get to know me. I never got any feedback even after going through all the rounds.
- Tell me about yourself and your background.
- What motivates your interest in Lincoln?
- Can you explain the rationale behind your selection of comparable companies?
