First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Linbeck.
Engineer
I met them at a career fair at my school. I went up to them, gave them my resume, and we chatted about my past experience for about 5 minutes. The next day, they called me and asked me to interview with them. The interview was short, around 20 minutes. A few weeks later, I got an email saying I got the job.
- What is your understanding of Lean construction and why are you interested in working here?
- Can you explain what you know about Lean construction and your motivations for seeking employment with our company?
Software Engineer
It's a relaxed interview process held at school settings. They want to know about your experiences and what drives you. They will also inquire about your desired career path, whether it's Product Management or a Field role. You'll likely be interviewed by more than one person. The best way to secure an interview is by attending a career fair.
- Tell me about the most challenging situation you've faced and how you managed to get through it.
VDC Specialist
The interview felt like a peer assessment due to the good relationship between the interviewer and interviewee. It was a good example of work responsibility, with a clear description of the role and requirements. The interviewer was friendly and not intimidating, unlike some other job interviews.
- Tell me about your past experience.
- What skills do you currently possess?

I chatted with Linbeck after meeting them at a career fair at school and then applied online for their internship. They got back to me via email to set up an interview, which was about 30 minutes long.
