First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LiminalArc.
Consultant
The interview had a mix of one-on-one conversations and assessments. The one-on-ones were good, with teammates showing interest in getting to know me and exploring how my experiences fit. The people I spoke with were humble, inquisitive, and knowledgeable. The assessments seemed to be for understanding candidates better, not just for passing or failing. My results showed my strengths and weaknesses in a way that a resume or interviews couldn't. The process was involved but helped me assess LeadingAgile and confirm if joining would be a win-win. Priya, the recruiter, was great to work with; she's passionate about the company and culture, and was transparent and responsive throughout.

Agile Coach
The interview process is pretty long. At first, it seems like you're dealing with a great consulting firm, but as you go further, you'll see it's just like any temp agency trying to place you. They'll ask you to lower your rate based on what they bill clients. Sometimes they say an offer is coming, then later they want more interviews. There are also a couple of assessments, but they don't share the results. I don't think this company is really agile or lives by agile principles. It seems like they have a few leaders who are good at getting business from big companies, and that's how they stay afloat. I'm not sure if they grow organically.

Product Strategist
It was a great experience, a 5-star one! The process started with a 30-minute screening interview, followed by some assessment tests. Then there were three more interviews, each an hour long, with a peer and the hiring manager, the Principal Consultant, and the Chief Methodologist. These interviews felt like natural conversations, mainly checking how well I'd fit the role, the team, and the company culture, as well as my general experience and problem-solving abilities. Everyone I spoke with was really positive, articulate, open, and super helpful, often staying late to answer all my questions. I thought the way they assessed candidates was really thorough and well-thought-out.

Studio Engineer
This interview process felt overly demanding and ultimately disrespectful of candidates’ time. It consists of three rounds: a 30-minute round, a 2-hour hands-on TDD pair programming session, and a 1-hour manager interview. There’s also an online assessment that takes about 2.5 hours, bringing the total time commitment to roughly 6 hours excluding preparation. Throughout the process, you’re expected to be well-prepared on company knowledge, Test Driven Development, and other agile concepts. They also push for a fast timeline with the interviews, so they can complete the process fast. You’ll be asked about your desired salary during or before the final interview, but if they decide not to move forward, you’ll likely be ghosted. I reached out proactively for info and feedback and never received a response. To make matters worse, after investing around 6 hours into interviews, I was asked in the final round, something like: “Do you really want to work for us, or are you just interviewing because we approached you?” This question came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, this company gave me the impression of a group of experts in their fields with oversized egos. I would not recommend pursuing opportunities here if you have other options.
