First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Limestone College.
Internal Auditor
We started with a tour of the campus, followed by a presentation. Then, I had some casual conversations with various faculty, staff, and administrators where they asked me questions. They were trying to understand why I was interested in the role and if I was familiar with the work environment at Limestone.
- What motivated your application for this role?
- Could you explain your interest in this specific position?
- What draws you to apply here?
Assistant Professor
After submitting my cover letter and CV, I got an online interview invitation about a month later. The people were very nice and friendly. Then, I had an on-campus interview which was also nice.
- Can you introduce yourself and highlight your strengths?
Instructional Support
I talked to the office manager and an associate. It was a really relaxed and simple chat, no hard or awkward questions at all. By easy, I really mean it. My interview for being a grocery store bagger was tougher than this.
- Can you tell me what you know about the college?
- What about your degree?
- And what's your technical expertise?
Instructor
I saw an ad for the job. I sent my resume in. I had a first interview with the director, and then with the staff and faculty. I did a teaching demonstration, but not to students.
- Were there any unexpected questions?
