It was a pretty long hiring process, spanning about two months. It kicked off with a phone screen, then a chat with the hiring manager, followed by an Excel assessment. After that, I had to do a presentation for a panel of four people. Then there were three separate interviews with individual interviewers, and finally, an onsite interview.

Case Behavioral

I had a series of interviews, all very professional and challenging with lots of interesting cases. I didn't get the job. Everyone I spoke to was ex-Uber, so that gives you an idea of who they're looking for. My experience was neutral because I had to do a take-home assignment that took me a few hours and was fun, but it wasn't shared with the interviewers who later asked me the same questions. Some might see this as testing resilience, but I think it's a poor use of time for everyone. Also, they wanted video conferencing, but the interviewers refused to use it.

Behavioral Technical Coding

First, there was a 30min recruiting call which went well. Then, I had a 1.5h assessment that was about data analysis. I had to download an excel sheet and answer 15 questions based on the data. After that, there were 6 more questions about data understanding. It was challenging and interesting with multiple choice questions. Basic excel skills like pivot tables were needed.
