First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lime.
General Manager
The whole thing took around 5 weeks. It started with a recruiter screen, then there was an analytics test, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had 3 interviews with people from different departments. Then I got a case study to work on, which I had a week to prepare. Finally, there was a panel presentation and an interview.
- Can you share an instance where you managed an underperforming employee and how you handled it?
- Describe your approach to management.
- What strategies would you employ for introducing new products into your market?
General Manager
I applied online and got an invite for a phone interview right away. The hiring manager missed it, so we rescheduled for the next day, and they missed that one too. I told the recruiter, and they apologized and set up a phone interview with someone else. It went over an hour, which was longer than the scheduled 30 minutes, and we had a good conversation. But then, I got rejected less than 24 hours later. I think they never really considered me and just did the interview because they had to. It was a total waste of my time and super frustrating to be treated like that by the hiring manager.
- What would be the metrics you'd use to gauge success?
General Manager
I applied through the website and then a recruiter called me for a screening. After that, I had to take a quantitative test, and then I interviewed with about four different people. The final step was a presentation to the management team. The recruiter was really professional and helpful, but the company was in the middle of big layoffs, so it was a bit chaotic. The interview process and questions were pretty typical, apart from the final presentation, which seemed to need some knowledge of the mobility industry.
- Can you explain your motivation for wanting to join Lime?
- Why do you believe you are the right candidate for this position?
- What is your assessment of the company's business and its prospects?
