First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lilium.
Test Engineer
A recruiter reached out about the position and set up a call. We chatted for about 30 minutes about the role and company, then they asked about my resume and experience, and I got to ask some questions. After that, I was asked to interview with the manager and some colleagues. This was a 1-hour technical interview where we discussed my resume and then they asked open-ended questions about how I'd tackle problems and my experience with specific systems and technologies.
- How would you make a dangerous system safe for people working with it?
Test Engineer
I talked with several people, from HR, Manufacturing Engineering, and management. Each conversation went for about 1-2 hours. The questions were generally normal difficulty, covering both technical and non-technical stuff. I was happy with how it all went.
- What are your thoughts on Production Lean methodologies?
- Can you discuss Production Statistics?
- Tell me about your Programming skills.
Battery Test Engineer
The process included a recruiter call and a technical interview. The recruiter call was a friendly initial meeting to get to know each other and discuss my background. The technical interview was a bit challenging, with questions focusing on the air platform.
- Can you explain what abuse tests are?
- What are performance tests?
- Could you define SOC, SOH, and SOx?
