I applied on Ziprecruiter and got a call from Lightspeed about a week later. Since I'd interviewed with them before and even got an offer, the recruiter was really happy to talk about this job. We talked about what I've done the last few years, their Salesforce department's goals, and how we were aligned. It was a really casual chat, but she was super excited to move me to the next round. In that next round, I met with their Product Manager and Director of MIS. They asked about my background and some more technical questions. The interview had a great vibe, and I felt like I really nailed it. I asked my questions, thanked them, and said I hoped to hear about next steps. They said, 'You'll definitely hear from us,' but then I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks, and I saw the job was reposted. They haven't replied to emails or LinkedIn, not even a rejection. I'm not mad, just want to save someone else stress if they don't hear back. When I interviewed with them before, I always heard back within 2 days. So if you're interviewing with them and don't hear back in a week, you might as well move on.

Behavioral Technical Other

The first interview was okay. They had me do a writing sample, a marketing plan, and two assessments (behavioral and cognitive). It took a while, but I put in the time because I was really into the job. The second interview didn't go as well as I hoped. I got flustered and blanked on a question. What really upset me was when they cut the call short by 10 minutes to 'prep for another call.' I know I'm not guaranteed the job, but I expect to be treated with respect. Being told another call was more important after all the effort I put in was pretty disappointing.

I got contacted super fast after applying, like, I almost missed their call 'cause I wasn't expecting anything so soon! The HR director, who was really chill and genuine, seemed genuinely interested in what I'd done. She invited me for an onsite interview just a couple days later. The whole hiring thing felt quick and really personal and friendly. They were happy to answer my questions about the process, and seeing the awesome office and meeting more people made me even more stoked about the job. I honestly thought getting this internship would be super tough 'cause it's such a great company, so I was really surprised and happy to get an offer. Totally don't regret applying or accepting!

I applied for the Customer Marketing Manager position on 6/6/21 and was asked to provide my interview availability on 6/9/21. Before any interviews, I had to complete a behavioral assessment and a cognitive assessment, which seems to be a standard practice for tech companies funded by private equity. After a call with HR, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager on 6/17/21. They then assigned me a homework assignment. I was ghosted for about a week and a half, then HR reached out to schedule back-to-back virtual interviews for 7/1/21. Ultimately, I received a rejection email and suspect my homework assignment might have been used for another candidate.
