Reporting Analyst
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds and was very smooth. It included a value match, a tech test, and a general chat. It did take a bit of time during the rounds, but the team was very kind and welcoming. It would be nice to work with them.
- What is your motivation for applying to this company?
- What makes you interested in this specific role?
- Could you share your salary expectations?
Senior Manager
The interview process involved a mix of technical interviews and discussions about cultural fit. There weren't any specific case studies for the development aspects. We talked about my previous experience, my preferred work culture and styles, and some questions were asked about market strategy. Fit questions touched upon my desired level of autonomy and my entrepreneurial approach.
- Which European market would you choose to enter, and what's your reasoning behind it?
Director of Business Transformation
It started with a call with the hiring manager, then a roundtable with the team, followed by a second call with the hiring manager. The final round was a call with two other team members. The whole thing took 8 weeks to get a verbal offer, which was a bit long but okay. We talked salary and compensation, but the written offer never materialized. I kept chasing HR and the Hiring Manager for weeks, and they always said 'a few more days.' Meanwhile, the hiring manager was discussing upcoming travel and projects with me, making it super stressful since I'd already quit my last job. After a month of waiting, no written offer came, and then the verbal offer was rescinded due to a hiring freeze. HR then ghosted me, taking ages to respond to calls or texts. The hiring manager was sorry but didn't do much else. When I asked HR for a written note about the hiring freeze to claim unemployment, they took two weeks to say no. It was a really disappointing experience, and I'm actually glad I didn't end up there if that's how they treat people.
- How would you handle resolving conflicts in the workplace?
Intern
The whole interview thing was pretty quick, about 20 days from when I applied to when they gave me the final answer. I talked to the department manager during this time. It was funny, the chat was mostly about my resume, not so much about the actual job duties. They said they'd let me know soon after, but I had to chase them up to get any feedback, which was just that I wasn't a good fit. This was only two days before the job was supposed to start. It was pretty obvious that once they found someone they liked better, they stopped caring about the rest of us applicants.
