It was a really negative experience, took forever because of a writing challenge that they didn't even talk about later. Then the in-person interview had some weird questions, like about headphones. They said they'd get back to me the next week, but I had to chase them twice with emails and calls over a few weeks. Suddenly, they sent an offer with a super low salary and wouldn't budge on it. The whole thing dragged on for 3 months, and I felt like they totally didn't value my time.

I had to do an assessment which really helped my portfolio. Then, I interviewed with a content team manager. They told me I was timely and that the process was motivating. They appreciated me showing up early. In the end, they mentioned they hired an intern for the role already and that it was a close decision.

I did a 4-hour work sample and got to the second interview round, but it's been two months and I haven't heard back. I wouldn't want to work for a company that doesn't respect my time by at least sending a rejection email. The first interview felt weird. The interviewer brought up high turnover for the role and asked a hypothetical about failing after six months. Those aren't typical questions and suggest a poor company culture.

The interview was conducted over Zoom with an upper management representative. I was asked standard introductory questions like 'tell me about yourself,' 'what are your strengths,' and 'what are your weaknesses.' Afterward, I had the chance to ask them some questions, and their answers were what I expected.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe a strength you have that could also be seen as a weakness?
