First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LifeSTEPS.
Program Coordinator
The people here are super nice people. I had two round interviews and my interviewers were super welcoming. They want to make sure their candidates are knowledgeable and had many scenario-specific questions. They are also very flexible and will work with your schedule.
- What skills do you have to offer?
- What scenario questions do you have regarding residents and situations?
Intensive Case Manager
The interview process involves both Zoom and in-person meetings with two interviewers. They'll ask about 8 questions, mostly focused on your past work experiences and examples. Make sure to have some questions ready for them about the job too.
- Can you tell us about your experience with CHAMP?
Director of Social Services
The interview process was very professional and the interviewers were friendly. They paid close attention to my answers and listened patiently. They clearly communicated their expectations and followed up with me in a timely manner. There were 2 phone interviews scheduled before a possible offer would be extended.
- What experience do you have that is relevant to this position?
Executive Assistant
My interview process included three rounds. First, a 30-minute phone screening. Then, a 45-minute panel interview with an outgoing employee. Finally, I had an interview with the CEO and two senior staff members. The process felt professional with many email confirmations, but after following up a week later via email, I never got a response. When a similar position was posted a month later, I reached out about being considered, but again, received no reply.
- What is your biggest concern about working with a remote team, including the CEO?
