It was a quick 10-minute chat with the CEO. They jumped right into some unusual questions without any intro, which felt like they were searching for a very specific profile. The CEO just ended the call abruptly after that.

The interview process was awful. They made me volunteer for a month before even allowing me to apply for an internship. It felt ridiculous. The interview itself was super easy and the people seemed nice, but the volunteer requirement before applying is just too much. Don’t waste your time.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview for the research scientist position started with a screening phone call, followed by a virtual interview, and concluded with a seminar presentation. There was a significant lack of communication throughout the entire process, with months passing between stages. The company was extremely slow to respond to emails, if they responded at all. So much time elapsed that when asked if they were still interested, they confirmed they were but stated another seminar would need to be conducted due to the delay. This second seminar ultimately didn't happen because the company failed to coordinate it. Weeks to months later, an automated message was sent indicating my candidacy was no longer being evaluated. The company lacked transparency and professionalism.
