First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LifePort.
Buyer
It started with two phone calls, one with HR and another with my future boss. Then, I had an in-person interview on campus with both HR and the supervisor.
- Can you tell me about your supply chain and purchasing experience?
Mechanical Engineer
I applied online and by mistake put in for Mech Eng II. They reached out and scheduled an interview for Mech Eng I, which I didn't see anywhere. First was a 30-45 min phone interview with the hiring manager where we talked about my background and what the job entails. A couple weeks later, we did a video call interview because I was out of town. I spoke with the engineering manager, another engineer, and the HR person who set things up. Then I had a call with their GM who asked basic intro questions and if I had questions about lifeport. After that, I was back in the area and set up a tour of the facility. Got an offer about a week later.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What about your past experience?
- What did you study in school?
Assistant
I went through a staffing agency. They were fast and detailed.
- What is an area where you can improve?
