First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LiceDoctors.
Lice Technician
Applied on Indeed and they sent me an email to apply on their website. The online application was straightforward and easy to fill out. Shortly after a phone interview was scheduled. They asked questions about experience, transportation and availability.
- Do you have prior experience dealing with head lice?
- What is your availability like?
Technician
I submitted an online application and shortly after, HR called me. I went through some training, both online and in person. There was a questionnaire, online lice training, and testing. I also had to shadow an experienced technician and pass a drug and background check. Plus, they called my professional references.
- Are you experienced with head lice?
- Do you own a dependable car?
- Do you have a cell phone?
Lice Technician
It was a very short but effective phone process. I was surprised by how quickly it moved; it's a very efficient business that wants to get you working as an Independent Contractor as soon as possible, which is great because you can start earning money sooner.
- Where are you located and what areas can you cover?
- What schedule works best for you?
Lice Technician
It was super friendly all the way through. They gave me a lot of info about the job and training if I got hired. I got videos to watch and learn from, plus step-by-step training.
- Can you differentiate between dry scalp and head lice?
