I applied for a specific job, but they seemed to have me confused with another applicant. The interviewer guy was talking about a different role and position, so I had to re-interview because he got mixed up on who he was interviewing. The head of HR dude was super rude and had a bad attitude, like he didn't want to be there. He was still confused about who was interviewing for what and was really negative, I don't know why. He even spoke badly about the organization and his coworkers. It was a really weird experience. Cheer up, man.

A recruiter referred me for this Director of Finance role. The interview process consisted of four rounds. It started with a call from the HR representative. Then, there was a fishbowl-style interview where I met with people from various departments. Following that, I had a meeting with the controller and the CFO. The final interview was with the CEO and CFO. Ultimately, the recruiter informed me that I did not receive an offer. My follow-up email to the CEO, CFO, and controller expressing my gratitude for their time went unanswered, which left a negative impression after the extensive interview process.

I applied for the job and got a call back the same day to schedule a phone interview for the next morning using Calendly. However, just 10 minutes before, the interviewer cancelled, saying there was a mistake, and sent a new Calendly link to reschedule with someone else. I picked a new time for that afternoon. When the interview time came, I wasn't called. About 10 minutes into the scheduled 15-minute call, I got an email asking if I had applied for a position. I was really frustrated because this was the second time I'd been stood up. I replied, explaining what happened. Thirty minutes later, I got a reply saying they had already filled the position earlier that day and that I should check back for future opportunities. It seems they had another candidate in mind all along, yet they contacted me and wasted my time preparing and waiting for interviews. It was unprofessional and disappointing, especially since I believed in their work, but there's clearly disorganization at Liberty Hill.

I really enjoyed my interview experience. I got to meet a lot of the staff and even some Board members. The interview helped me learn about the organization, its past, recent successes, difficulties, and chances for growth.
