Human Resources Manager
Started with a recruiter call, about 20 minutes, then they scheduled an interview with the HR Director. That interview seemed pretty standard, no tricky questions, and my experience seemed to fit what they were looking for. The HR Director said I'd be invited to the facility to meet the team and see the distribution center, and I'd hear back within a week. But I never heard anything. So after a week, I contacted the recruiter because I saw the job posted again on LinkedIn. I asked for an update on my application. No response at all, no call or email. I was ghosted. It was disappointing, but it seems common these days. I wish they'd at least sent a quick email saying they were going in a different direction. It felt dishonest for the HR Director to say I'd meet the team and tour the facility when they weren't planning on it. We in HR should hold ourselves to a higher standard.
- What would your ideal next role entail?
Manager
The recruiter was super helpful and flexible, doing my phone interview in the evening which worked out great. They were nice and answered everything I asked. Some questions were tough but fair and totally related to the job. After that first call, there were more interviews. Scheduling them took a bit, but it felt like a really complete process.
- Can you walk me through your past employment?
- Please share some examples of situations you've encountered.
- Can you provide examples based on your career experience?
Website Coordinator
I met with the team, and it was great, but I had about 4-6 interviews with different team members. The skills they were looking for didn't exactly match what was in the job posting. It seemed like a good place overall, but the process dragged on a bit too long.
- Can you describe your experience with editing and maintaining websites?
Human Resources Assistant
I went through three interviews with some HR and operations supervisors where they asked me about my past experiences. They mostly asked situational questions and gave me scenarios to see how I would handle different tasks and situations.
- Tell me about a situation where you had too many tasks and not enough time to complete them. What was your approach?
