First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LGI Homes.
Office Manager
The interview process started with a short phone screen, about 7 minutes, with a nice recruiter who asked about my past and relevant experience. Next, I had to do a personal assessment, which took about an hour but gave really accurate and detailed results. These results were then reviewed in a personal interview that lasted a couple of hours, covering my experience, work ethic, personality, company background, and some personal details. I really liked the whole process because LGI seems to genuinely want to get to know each candidate.

Office Manager
I got a quick call for a 10-min phone interview, then I did a test they have you take. I got a call back pretty fast for a second interview, but the day before it was scheduled, they called to say they'd gone in a different direction and canceled it.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What about yourself?
- What else can you tell me about yourself?
Office Manager
I applied on Indeed and got a phone call from recruiting. After that, I was told I'd hear from a Sales Manager within a week. About a week later, the Sales Manager called to set up an in-person interview. When I arrived, I met with the Sales Manager and the Sales VP for a 2-hour interview.
