Benefits Specialist
The interview process started with a phone interview, then I met with 3 people for about an hour. There wasn't much time left for questions at the end. After that, I had a one-hour writing assessment. The people interviewing me were very pleasant, though one seemed a bit distracted by her phone, which was a bit odd. I felt good about the interview, but I don't think I had all the required qualifications. My main issue is the communication afterwards. They mentioned they were moving fast, within the week, and that I would hear back either way, but I haven't heard anything since early April, and it's now almost the end of May. I did send thank you notes to all three interviewers.
- Can you describe your previous duties?
- What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses to be?
- Tell me about a challenge you faced.
Vendor Coordinator
The interview was a 5-person panel, a standard behavioral interview that lasted exactly one hour. They messed up and didn't tell the security guard I was coming, so I was stuck waiting in the parking lot for about 30 minutes while the guard tried to get a hold of someone to let me in. He eventually gave up! I was so glad I arrived early. They were so focused on asking me questions and writing things down that I only got to ask them one question, and then they rushed me out the door like the building was on fire. It felt really unprofessional.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced a disagreement with a colleague?
- How do you manage and structure your time?
- Please discuss your academic background.
Corporate Counsel
I first had a quick phone chat where they asked basic stuff like how I found out about the opening, why I wanted it, and went over my resume. Then, I went in for a panel interview with someone from HR and a few people from the corporate counsel team, including the hiring manager for the position. They only asked STAR questions, such as "tell me about a time you had to balance what was best for the company with what was best for the customer." After that, I had to provide a written response to a question, and they gave me the research that went along with it.
- What is your response when your supervisor asks for your opinion, but you're unsure about the best path forward?
Customer Service Representative
After applying, if you get selected, you'll have a phone interview. If they like you, you'll go in for a quiz that includes basic math and customer service stuff, plus some questions about the business based on info they give you. If you pass that, you'll get an email for an in-person interview. It's a 3-person panel interview, so be ready for that. They'll ask you basic customer service behavioral questions.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position?
