Coding Technical System Design

It was a long process, took about 6 months to finish all 7 rounds. The interviews were pretty tough, a mix of medium to hard difficulty. They hit DSA concepts hard, covering everything from arrays and stacks to graphs, with medium-level DSA questions. Then there were 4 rounds focused on system design and general tech stuff, often based on their tools and product. They also dug into technologies listed on my resume.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview process had three rounds. First round was about talking through my resume projects to see how I solved problems in the past. Second round was a mix of quantitative analysis, guesstimates, stats, and coding questions to test my analytical thinking and technical skills. Third round was with HR to see if I'd be a good fit for the company culture and if my communication skills were up to par.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring manager hit me up on LinkedIn and we set up a 30-minute chat for the following week. They started with some basic stuff like where I'm located and what my salary needs are, then threw some curveball math problems at me that I had to solve on the spot. It was a bit weird 'cause I wasn't expecting that kind of question and they didn't prep me for it. There were some awkward silences while I figured things out, and their reactions like furrowed brows and eye-rolls made the experience not great. Hopefully, it was just an off day for them and they'll be more considerate in the future.

Technical Case

No phone screening, but got a case study to complete in 3 days. After that, had a video interview with the hiring team. The interview was kind of bad due to occasional message notification sounds. Also, the questions asked weren't related to the position at all. The worst part was when I asked for feedback on my case study, the interviewer said, "oh as long as you did that, you can get an interview." That gave me a really bad impression of the company and felt disrespectful. Didn't get the offer, but honestly, I don't care about this company anymore. A hiring manager should at least show some respect to candidates.
