I applied online and got a call back in 3-5 days for a quick 20 min phone interview. After that, I was scheduled for an in-person interview a few days later. Before the in-person interview, I had to prepare and present a 20-25 minute PowerPoint on an HR topic I chose. I got to the interview early, but the interviewer was late. When I went into the room, there were 5 other employees, which I wasn't expecting. It felt like an interrogation, with everyone asking questions aggressively. It lasted an hour and a half, and they said they'd contact me in 5 days, but they never did, and I wasn't interested in continuing.

I applied to the student services office. Then I was put in a group where we were given a few case studies of what a new student may go through. We then worked in our group to determine how we would handle each of the cases. After about 10 mins to discuss amongst ourselves we were asked to join the interview panel who then asked us about the cases and questions regarding the universities mission and what it means to us. I was then called in for a second panel interview in which we were asked to put together a presentation we would give to introduce a student to the university.

I applied by emailing them and got an interview scheduled about two weeks later. Initially, I had an unscheduled phone interview, after which I was invited for a formal in-person interview. I was also asked to put together a 10-minute presentation to deliver to the current admissions team.

The interview process was pretty straightforward with easy questions. They mainly wanted to know about the languages I speak now and any I'm interested in learning. The department seems small, with most people being adjuncts. It felt laid-back but still professional. It wasn't too difficult, and the people were really nice.
