First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lewis Communications.
Intern
It was a pretty straightforward process. They asked general questions about what you could bring to the team, your skills, and your past experiences. It was important to highlight why you were interested in Lewis over other agencies in Birmingham.
- In what ways has your prior experience made you a good fit for this position?
Account Coordinator
I had a few video calls with different people from the team. Some were just me and one person, others had more people on the call. The last interview was actually in person, giving me a tour and then talking more. It was all pretty easy and they were really accommodating with timing!
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
Copywriter
Saw an ad in the paper and then met with the head of the Mobile office and the Creative Director. They asked me a lot of questions about my past experience and how it applies to what they need now. They offered me a low salary, but we talked and settled on a compromise that was just okay.
- In what ways has your previous work experience equipped you to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment?
- How do you cope with high-pressure situations?
Account Manager
Worst interview experience ever. I had to interview for 6 hours with 8 employees at their Nashville location. After all that, they didn't contact me for 3 months. I tried emailing HR multiple times for an update, but they never responded. Definitely avoid this company.
- What motivates you to want to join our company?
