I applied online and after about two weeks, I got a call for a phone interview. That call was with HR, and it was mostly about going through my resume. About a week later, HR called me again for an in-person interview. This interview was actually a whole day event, lasting from 8AM to 3PM. I also had to give a presentation on a topic chosen by the hiring committee, whom I had already met with earlier that day to discuss my skills and experience.

After you apply online, a committee reviews your application. Then, they'll contact you to set up a group interview. Following that, you might have a presentation for the entire division. Then, you'll interview with the VP or division chair, and after that, a one-on-one interview with the department director. Then you just wait.

I had a first round Skype interview and then an in-person interview that I was flown out to Lewiston for. The Skype interview was nice because I felt like it was more personal than a phone screening and I got a feel for the interviewers. The in-person interview included a campus tour, a 1 on 1 interview and then a panel interview. I also got a great tour of the offices and the town.

I sent in my application and thankfully got through to the first set of interviews. It was a phone interview where I faced a panel of about 5-6 interviewers, which made it a little tricky to keep track of who was asking what.
