The interview process was a short round. It was cordial and professional; they were on time. However, they didn't get back with a decision, so I had to reach out to get the decision.
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
Technology Support Specialist
So, the interview process started with a one-on-one chat. After that, there was a panel interview. This panel included my direct supervisor, some coworkers, people from HR, and even some administrators from different departments. Everyone on the panel asked questions, and they expected me to have questions for them too.
- Regarding building and maintaining operating system images, what's your comfort level or experience?
Communication and Events Coordinator
So the first interview was like four separate in-person interviews, each about 20-30 minutes, with either one or two people. It was about 2 1/2 hours total. Then I got invited back for four more separate interviews, each about the same length. The whole process felt like it took forever 'cause the interview slots were spread over two weeks. Then a couple weeks passed, and the second round of interviews also had slots spread over two weeks. I didn't hear back after that second round, and after about a month, I got a rejection letter in the mail.
- What would be your first project in the first three months?
Assistant Coordinator
Two people from a 7-person board interviewed me for an extension of a temporary position I already held. They had initially offered me the role but then decided to open it up to other employees. The interview was in person, and the two program leads asked me questions about the program. There weren't any pre-set questions.
