Behavioral Other

Applied online, and I also filled out a behavioral questionnaire. Then, I had a 45-minute phone screening with the Head of Talent at Levin. They asked behavioral questions, and the interviewer was pretty easygoing and friendly. After that, I had a 30-minute behavioral interview over zoom with the senior VP of the NYC office. It took them ages to get back to me, and I had to follow up three times before I heard back.

Behavioral Technical

The process was pretty quick and back to back. I had a phone call where they explained the role in detail. After that, I had an interview and then had to complete a psychometric test. I'm currently waiting to hear back about the results and if I got the job.

Behavioral Other

I was initially contacted via LinkedIn by a Senior Recruiter in early December 2021 for a role. The process began with three tests: a brief phone interview, a 20-minute email skills assignment, and a quiz. After successfully passing these, I was informed I'd have a second stage interview with the manager. However, there were significant issues. First, the recruiter mistakenly scheduled me for the wrong role (storm3 instead of storm4), and initially denied the error. He then stated the manager was on vacation until after Christmas, returning in early January. By the second week of January, I hadn't heard back. The recruiter eventually called, apologized for the delay, and offered me a choice between a role I wasn't interested in (storm2) or storm4 with an April 2022 start. After reiterating my interest in storm4, he promised to schedule the interview for the following week (third week of January) and send an email, which never came. I even emailed him my availability for that week. Despite no direct response, I received an automated rejection email a week later stating they preferred other candidates. Interestingly, I received another offer that same day. I feel the recruiter was unprofessional, made many mistakes, and disrespected my time. The company seemed disorganized, evidenced by another recruiter reaching out for the same position while I was already in the process. Ultimately, I'm glad I didn't proceed, as it would have been a waste of time for my career.

Presentation Behavioral

I had a presentation to current employees on a topic of my choice. Then, I interviewed with different people at the company for a bit. The questions were mostly behavioral and not too hard. However, I didn't get a tour or meet anyone else outside the presentation. I also felt they lacked respect because they said I'd hear back in a month, but it's been four months and they still won't give me any updates. I've decided it's not a company worth working for if they can't be straightforward.
