Compliance Specialist
The interviewer was nice and respectful, and kept in touch. After a phone chat, they let me know they went with another candidate. They did offer to help me with job placement services at their company.
- What is motivating your job search away from your present role?
Controller
First, an internal HR person will do a quick screening call to make sure you fit the job specs. This will be over Teams or phone. Then, you'll have an in-house interview where they'll ask about your experience and technical skills. They might throw in some situational questions too. Make sure you have your own questions ready about the company and the job.
- Are you prepared to contribute to the growth of a business that has already seen success?
Human Resources
I got an email with some questions about myself and my experience. I answered them and also asked the representative some questions about the position and the company. My questions were not answered, but I was invited for an interview. Before the interview, I tried reaching out again with my questions, but I was never called or emailed back. I reconsidered going to the interview, but decided to go anyway because I wanted more interview experience. The parking situation was terrible and the building had a bad smell. I had to walk up to someone at their desk to ask where I needed to go. I was interviewed by two women, neither of whom was the person I was supposed to meet as she was unavailable that day. They used inappropriate language multiple times during the interview and asked questions that I didn't think were appropriate for an interview. They also ask via email and in person if you can work overtime, so I would assume overtime would be frequent. Four weeks after I had accepted another job, they contacted me to see if I was still interested, and obviously, I was not.
- If you had the chance to have one superpower, what would it be?
- Can you work overtime?
Accountant
Had a phone chat with the Recruiting Dept. We talked about my background and what I'm seeking. They also covered the job duties, and the company vibe. Then, I had an in-person meeting with the Dept Head. We went deeper into job expectations and my past work. I also met with the HR Director and a future teammate. Got to ask all my questions.
- Can you detail your bookkeeping and accounting skills?
- What are your proficiencies with MS Office?
- What experience do you have with the PEO industry?
