First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Level One Bank.
HR Assistant
It was a really good experience overall. The HR team was super open and friendly, and they communicated really well throughout the phone screening and the in-person interview. The phone screen itself was quick. They asked some standard questions, and I got a call back within two business days to set up the in-person. The same person who did the phone screen, plus a colleague, did the in-person interview. It felt like a really engaging chat.
- Can you describe a time when you had to take the initiative to make a decision for your supervisor?
Intern
It was pretty easy and straightforward. Just a behavioral interview with standard questions. They also asked some technical questions about the three financial statements.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Describe a challenging experience you've had.
- What makes you interested in Level One Bank?
Intern
I had one interview for this role. HR and the manager I would be reporting to asked me some basic questions. After passing a background check and drug screen, I got the job and started working in under a week. It was a really fast and easy process.
- Can you discuss the college courses you've completed?
Intern
I had a phone call with HR for a phone screen, and then they set up an interview. At the interview, two people from the department interviewed me. It was pretty relaxed, and they asked common STAR questions and about my school involvement.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
