First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Level.
Support Specialist
First, I had a call with a recruiter. Then, the first part of the interview was 30 minutes. The second interview had 4 parts with about 8 people and lasted 1.5 hours.
- When handling upset customers, what methods do you use to de-escalate the situation?
Software Engineer
It started with some programming questions where they wanted me to explain my thought process. After that, we talked about my background and the projects listed on my resume. It was a pretty good experience overall, and the interviewer was nice.
- Can you discuss your past projects and experience?
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
- Please provide answers to programming questions.
Member Support
I had a networking-driven interview for a Member Support role. The process started with a coffee chat, followed by a visit to the office to meet team members. There were approximately 2 rounds where I interacted with 4-6 disengaged and unprofessional individuals who behaved like bullies. One person, who seemed new, repeatedly played devil's advocate.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Chief of Staff
It was a long process with the exec team, and I had a case study to do, but then the role got cancelled. The recruiter wasn't super communicative. It took up a lot of time and was a bummer.
- Describe your cross-departmental collaboration skills.
