Presentation

Candidates are asked to submit a video of themselves discussing their marketing experience and how they've used AI in their work. This is a really awkward and unnatural process. It's a big red flag that they don't want to have a real conversation with candidates. It makes sense why their job openings are up for so long.

It was a really easy virtual interview for a remote internship, but unfortunately, I didn't get an offer. We talked about how AI might shape marketing in the future and about my own writing process, plus some introductions.

Behavioral

I first spoke with someone from Level Agency over a month ago. Since then, communication has been sparse and confusing. They'll send an email saying internal needs have changed but they hope to have an update soon, then two weeks will pass and there's still radio silence. It feels unprofessional and disorganized, which is a total red flag. It makes sense given their recent merge and rebrand; the company seems to be going through some struggles.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you describe your experience handling numerous clients and projects that have similar deadlines?

I talked to HR first, then I spoke with two different hiring managers. They ended up closing the role because there wasn't enough clarity or need for it. The role is tough to sustain for a smaller company since M&A needs to be happening constantly, so this outcome wasn't a total shock, but it was still a pleasant interview experience.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you tell me about the tools you utilize to support your workflow?
