The whole thing took over 3 weeks. It seemed promising at first, but then there was radio silence for 15 days even after I tried to follow up multiple times. Finally, they told me they 'preferred an internal candidate'. No communication, no follow-up, just ghosting. It really showed a lack of professionalism and respect for candidates. Apparently, being 'too well prepared' for an interview is now a bad thing.

First interview with HR: presented the job, expectations, and compensation package. Second interview with the Head of Controlling: Manager was not very proactive in selling the position, didn't make me really want to join his team. For every question I asked, the answers were very evasive and vague.

Had an initial phone call, then a video interview with an HR person for about an hour. The connection was good, and the conversation felt balanced. At the end of the interview, they told me I was shortlisted and that my profile was very interesting. However, after that, I heard nothing back and got no response to my follow-ups or calls. I was ghosted. It was disappointing, strange, and definitely not great for their employer brand.
