We started with a group interview where we had to do some activities together and give general presentations. After that, there was a one-on-one interview, more traditional and private. Some candidates had already interviewed at another location, and that day was more of a formality for them: in the end, they hired two people. We participated, but it seemed like the decisions were already made.

I went to a job fair with different contract types (fixed-term, permanent, seasonal..). I applied stating I wanted a 2-month, maximum 3-month fixed-term contract because I have training for a career change afterward. A recruiter called me for an in-person interview at the store. The interview was brief because the manager and HR wanted someone with experience in the sector for a permanent contract. Even though I knew it wouldn't work out, I'm still waiting for a response from the various HR people I spoke with to get a rejection for the position, they didn't even bother to reply to my follow-ups.
