First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lerch Bates.
Payroll Coordinator
The interviewer had her camera pointed at her forehead most of the time and was working during the interview. She didn't seem to be listening and just kept saying everyone wanted to work with their company. I sent a follow-up but didn't hear back from the interviewer or the company recruiter.
- Were there basic questions about payroll?
Drafter
The interview process was pretty standard. First, there was a non-technical part where they asked about my education and strengths. Then, the technical part dug deeper into my strengths and weaknesses, asking about my experience with drafting software and my thought processes.
- Which software package do you know best?
- What makes you enthusiastic about this company and this role?
- Tell me about a conflict you encountered in a group and how you handled it.
Project Coordinator
It was a really straightforward interview process. You didn't need much prior experience, just basic coordination skills. I had a brief chat with the testing manager and the VP, and it moved pretty quickly after I got the offer. The salary offer wasn't flexible though.
- Were you interested in learning new things?
